HEATSOAK is the dark electronic musical experiment of Montana-raised builder and driver Trevin Hermosillo. Years spent racing, running Cannonball routes, building machines, and listening behind the wheel feed a world of heavy bass, mechanical rhythm, nocturnal tension, heat, speed, touch, and distance. Hermosillo writes, directs, sequences, and art directs every release; the performances are AI, stated plainly rather than hidden.

Long bio

Before HEATSOAK, Trevin Hermosillo's life was already organized around machines and motion. Born and raised in northwest Montana, he learned tools in his father's garage, spent a decade in the railroad industry, and later co-founded the experimental R&D company SWAE. Cannonball runs, races, ambitious one-off builds, and long-distance driving put years of listening time behind the wheel. The driver's seat became a private room for discovering what music could survive speed, fatigue, repetition, and darkness.

HEATSOAK turns that accumulated experience into a dark electronic pressure system. Hermosillo cites ZHU, Chet Faker, deadmau5, Billie Eilish, and more as inspiration, drawing from their command of atmosphere, restraint, scale, and intimacy while building a world of his own: turbine forms, wet pavement, ember-red instruments, heat haze, shadow, and charged human contact.

The project debuted in August 2026 with the sixteen-track album Thermal Overload, followed by thirteen released standalone singles and a continuing release schedule. Ritual Static, the eleven-track second album, arrives October 30. Every release is written, directed, sequenced, and art directed by Hermosillo. The performances are AI, a production fact stated directly. HEATSOAK is a musical experiment with a visible human hand. It is an open invitation for listeners to enter, choose their own route, and share the experience.
