B-Side Behavior

Dark syncopated electro-pop at 124 BPM, sung close to the mic and kept deliberately restrained. There is a hard pause and a fake drop before the real one lands at 2:45.

About the track

The cover is a record still turning with one groove burning under the needle, which is the whole idea. A B-side is the track nobody was supposed to be listening to, and this is a song about the version of a person that only shows up once they assume the room has stopped paying attention.

Built for headphones and for driving at night rather than for volume. The sub bass sits centered, the FM warble stays dirty, and the master keeps real dynamic headroom at -14 LUFS.

B-Side Behavior is a standalone single and is not part of Thermal Overload. Written, directed, sequenced, and released by Trevin Hermosillo. Vocals and instrumentation are AI performed under his direction, which is declared in the release metadata. More on that in About.
