Home Won't Let Me Inside

The other side of the door. The house is lit, somebody is standing in it, and the lock does not know you anymore.

About the track

Five minutes eleven, and the longest thing HEATSOAK has released. It picks up exactly where Every Door Leads Home stops: the drive is over, the door is open, and getting there turns out to have been the easy part.

The two covers are deliberately one location shot twice. The first looks up the road toward the house. This one stands in the doorway looking back out at the rain.

Home Won't Let Me Inside is a standalone single and is not part of Thermal Overload. Written, directed, sequenced, and released by Trevin Hermosillo. Vocals and instrumentation are AI performed under his direction, which is declared in the release metadata. More on that in About.
