Enough

A song about wanting less for once. Restrained and syncopated in the verses, then an enormous bass release on a chorus that answers its own premise.

About the track

Enough starts from the assumption that wanting more is how you know you are alive, then spends four minutes dismantling it. The verses are all motion, new keys, moved finish lines, a better view looked straight through. The chorus stops.

The drop is built as call and response rather than impact, and the bridge drops the drums entirely for something close to speech. It is the quietest ending HEATSOAK has put on a record.

Enough is a standalone single and is not part of Ritual Static. Written, directed, sequenced and released by Trevin Hermosillo. Vocals and instrumentation are AI performed under his direction, which is declared in the release metadata. More on that in About.
